I LOVE this song and I'm so glad I finally got to sing it! I’m always so enthralled by the idea of singing/acting as a god or deity. I love seeing the different ways that it is approached by different performers. It’s very neat. I always come at it from the angle of gods being busy with much bigger things and being bored/unimpressed with some rando human showing up to complicate thier lives.
There were a few parts of this song I was hoping to rerecord but i have been sick as a dog for the past month so I didn’t have a chance. Hopefully it can play into the aloofness i was hoping to potray!

I love Anna's version of Poseidon because without the bag line it makes it seem like she purposely "spared" Odysseus to further prove her point that "ruthlessness mercy upon ourselves" because now they'll have to live with the fact their entire fleet was wiped out.
