Actually technically speaking now you can actually " overclock" a CPU even on a locked motherboard but it also generally tends to overclock everything else which could lead to instability

Bro. No. K series CPUs are both factory overclocked and about 7-15% faster, AND are easily overclockable on top of that. for LGA1700 Motherboards, every one of them supports manual overclocking except for H610 and H710 MBs, Instabilities aside.

I didn’t know I couldn’t overclock these boards 😂 I already bought the mobo for my new pc (the sonic one) fortunately I have no immediate plans to overclock anyways but dang I’d have to change mobo if I want to.
