Henry Rose Lee is an expert in being Faceblind.
This has meant that her inability to recognise faces has given her powerful techniques to compensate, that non-faceblind people can develop too.
To really get to the heart of someone’s communication, even when they’re trying to hide the truth, Henry Rose Lee shares what you can do.

A true headliner in her life of everyday discovery. Ten years ago, Henry learned she was “face blind”, and cannot recognise people she knows by their facial features...not even her husband. It has taught her a lot about how to see people in other ways, and getting to the heart of what really matters for them.

What a great talk I love when you ‘feel’ a person it’s so genuine

Thank you for this extremely valuable and well-delivered talk. What an enriching and extraordinary gift to see people as they truly are rather than taking them at face value

Something that so few know anything about. Well done Henry for explaining so well.

Inspiring and a timely reminder that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover - try to see people for their actions, even though society has trained us otherwise.
Thoroughly enjoyed this talk.

I have been faceblind all my life and only found out about this a year ago. I have struggled with not being able to recognize my children or even myself but I can see so much more. I have developed my ability to recognize people's emotions and can even predict their behaviors and interactions. I can't judge people by their appearance and marvel at their true selves. Although it can be uncomfortable at times it's also a wonderful gift. Thanks for this Henry Rose!

I had never even heard of this but it really gets you thinking about all the things we don't know about others and the challenges that we can't see. Wonderful and thank you!

YAY!! I loved this, it is such a great reminder to not take people at face value - there is really so much more to a person.

Completely engaging. Even though I have heard Henry before on this topic at PSASE, this talk was at another level. Thinking about what engaged me: 1) Henry's use of clear, informative hand movements and gestures to illustrate her points - well rehearsed? and 2) a takeaway that resonates with all of us who have to meet people and make judgements on the quality - authenticity even - of our relationship with that person, and perhaps more importantly, how much we trust them.

Great presentation Henry. Well done. And so brilliant that you are raising awareness about prosopagnosia.

A very inspirational talk by Henry Rose and a good reminder for all of us to look for signs in behavior changes and not judge on look or appearance. It would be very helpful to know even a bit more on how Henry detects people not telling the truth.. Looking forward to more videos

Thanks Henry for your fabulous explanation about something I had never heard of, but now want to know more. Having heard you say that 1 in 50 people have this, my mind is now racing as to the implications of this from a sales perspective. Empathy and rapport building is so important and I am now wondering how many sales may have been lost due to someone in the sales process being Faceblind! Susan Marot - Succeed at Selling

We can so easily miss 'the real person' if we only accept people we find attractive.

I don't understand the significance of the surveillance state. It's basically just a leg up for crooks.
