I GOT THE Thanks for all the tips!
Had my in person interview on Monday Afternoon & got the call the next morning at 10am! 😁
Also, just a tip.. i censed that the panel had a sense of humor, so I told a joke at the end & it totally paid off! They all laughed & then told me that they value people in the role with a good sense of humor. 😜

Yes, it's very often the more charismatic person who answers the questions 'correctly' and confidently who gets the months later when that person turns out to be incompetent and leaves, and the employer - who NEVER admits that these questions are a ridiculous way to judge people's abilities- - hax to go through the expense of hiring someone else all over again..

Thank you so much for making this video. I was with my previous employer for 20 years and now find myself preparing for interviews and selling myself. These tips are excellent!

When I worked for a small insulation company for a short time, the manager called us one day into the office to give us the bad news of being laid off .
Out of all of the people, I was the only person to step forward and thank him for the work .
when applying for another job I asked him for a reference, and he readily agreed.
I was told after the interview that he had said " Hire the man, you would be a fool not to".
Pays to be polite to people even if you are being fired.

2. Nice gentle smile
3. Project great confidence, you have a great command in f your subject
4. Using your hands to help making a point.
5. Flow of your presentation

Thank you kindly for creating and sharing this video. I am a senior HR/OD professional with recruiting experience and I have recently managed recruiters, I give others the advice you shared in terms of using the STAR method, providing quantifiable results, being concise, etc. Yet, when it comes down to it, even I struggle with behavioral interviewing! Though you video started with the basics, I found you offered the best advice for senior-level professionals I have seen/heard. Again, thank you!

Your video content is really useful and more professional (especially at higher level positions) as most of the videos here seem like they aren't meant for senior roles

I totally understand about getting tongue-tied. Once, years ago, I worked for a company that had the word “transitions” in the name. Well, do you think I could say that word when answering the phone, or referring to the organization? Not at all and it only got worse! Fortunately, I found another role more suited to my experience and interestingly, WAS able to pronounce the word later when I tried.

Thank you for your sharings. I am about to take part again in this type of interviewing process so I decided to refresh the STAR model in my memory.

Most of the presentations I liked. What I didn't like is - I'll quote: ˝Don't speak badly about the organization˝.
There are people, fighters for starting awareness about more than frequent events of bullying, mobbing, different types of harassment who are impacting change in the organizations with their activities.

Communication is only one of the activities- beginning of a review of policies and procedures for Human Resources Departments could proceed with the prevention, punishment, or healing process.

Don't you agree that that deserves to be mentioned as a STAR model example considering Human Capital is priceless and with those kinds of fights and battles Human Capital gets the position of the most valuable asset not only in the wording - the reality is what it counts?
