This tutorial is very good. Too bad it just does not work for me. Although it shows neatly how to make a root partition, on my setup it just refuses to create the subvolumes for diferent linux folders. The mount point also is not showing. After installation (of course) OS boots only in rescue mod.

Thank you for this. I have done many openSUSE installs on old MBR legacy hard discs but never on UEFI disc, so it was much appreciated. However I never saw how the Key for opensUSE was installed to UEFI secure boot system.

Thanks for the guide, but can you shortly explain why did you create separate Home partition alongside with Btrfs main partition where subvolume Home were also created automaticaly?

Hallo und vielen Dank für das Video. Wo liegen die Unterschiede zwischen OpenSuse und OpenSuse Enterprise bitte?

Mine always hangs at about 85% on the install. The mouse icon is a spinning ball and the list on the screen says there are no more packages to install. The entire thing freezes at this point and no inputs work. All I can do is reboot the computer physically, and then get a message that there are no bootable drives. I have followed this guide to a tee. I have tried with out manually partitioning the drives as well. I have even attempted the "nomodeset" to get past any graphics issues. But nothing gets it past the point of freezing. I don't know what to do
