I'm using the SUSE Tumbleweed KDE and i love it! Despite being rolling release it's super stable and smooth.
The BTRFS native support and snapshots directly from the grub are also very nice!

You talking about the beautiful places around your hometown was very wholesome. :)

The "hometown tour" at the end was a really nice touch.
OpenSUSE isn't a distro I've really considered, but I think I'll install it in a VM and give it a try.

I think it would be interesting to watch the comparison of this distro with the main players based on debian/Ubuntu, Manjaro (it's a must nowadays in any comparison), Fedora (why not) and/or the upcoming RHEL... etc, and include the majority of common basic operations people do with their devices:
-bootup time
-launching the basic set of software like Libre office, Krita, Gimp, kdenlive, audacity, media players... Image viewers, file managers...
-some minor gaming comparison
-and what if the conclusion is the opinion based on the overall usage experience of the distro? E.g. the fastest was Manjaro but the most pleasant distro when recording the comparison video was another one... ;-)

If I install it on any drive other than the one Windows is on, I get an error message saying that the system might not be able to boot.

i heard its a good idea to disable the desktop firewall. Else u will hv difficulty configuring network printers, among other "problems" down the road. Yr home router probably alr has a firewall, so there are no danger in doing something like this. watt did u do 2 fix the screen resolution? i think i had similar problems in the past.

Does Gnome Software work with Zypper or does it conflict with Yast/Zypper installs?
