Love OpenSuse with the Plasma desktop. Probably my favorite Linux distro.

Most Bestest tips. Running Linux last 9 years, keep coming back to Suse because I want to love it but something always happens. Now hoping 15.2 Leap is the charm.

I am probably an advanced new user of openSUSE and found this video helpful. However, I have been able to accomplish most of what I needed to do, Except I have not been able to connect to my NAS. All other distros I have installed (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Manjaro, Arch and Fedoro) have connected with no issues.

SUSE is great. I have an old laptop that I'm going to install it on. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to run Leap or Tumbleweed.

Can someone pls tell me if opensuse tumbleweed KDE has 3 fingers gesture out of the box?

Good tips. I’m against things like developer package that installs hundreds of packages that you might use one day. Many of them, like make were already installed out of the box. Keeping Tumbleweed up to date will keep you on the latest version.

Also drop down terminal Yakuake is a great tool.

This for some reason did not install the libdvdcss2 (DVD Playback) codecs for me. Had to install them manually after adding packman repo.
