How about running downhill on the tarmac? I run on road and crash landing on the heels for a long time is not easy.. At steep downhill (road) I just walk because my legs can not stop me..

You didn't show how to do it when the trail is wet. Can you make a video of wet trial downhill! (maybe with poles)

Great tips, I did my meniscus a tear from too much down hills, likely longer strides, pounding down due to my dog pulling me along. Any tips for a 55 strengthening muscles so I can get many more years on the trails? Thk
