It is an illegal eviction. She should have been able to get 30 days notice. They should have called in a translator. There should never be an arrest in a breakup, unless there was domestic violence. Trespass is if the person didn't already live there and has a protection order on them. But if there's no protection order and they lived there, it's an illegal eviction.

If were the sister I'd hire an attorney and sue the Freeport Police dept. because its glaringly obvious Freeport doesn't meet minimum ADA guidelines. Also, the cop is lying. Of course, he knew about Christi's prior arrest a couple of weeks prior. Now knowing from the beginning Christi was disabled he should have deescalated the situation but instead chose to arrest her, despicable.

I love the way they ask the boyfriend to ask her if she understands. So he looks at her and verbally asks her if she understands. He tells the cops, "yeah! She understands". They just take his word for it even though it's clear she's frustrated because they don't. Incidently, what a lowlife her ex is... nasty little snake.
