When you fear integrity and accountability, you are no longer the good guys

Sounds to me like the Fraternal Order of Police Union managed to get a dozen of their members onto the jury!!!!

To all of those jurors who couldn't reach the right decisions: You should pray that these type of cops never pull over your loved ones.😢 Justice in Amerikkka.

The jury found that the officers had no malice... Nazario: "I'm afraid to get out of the car." Officer Gutierrez: "You should be!" while both officers were pointing handguns at Nazario's head. No malice. This verdict is a JOKE.

You can not expect the people to respect law and order until we teach those we've entrusted with enforcing the law to respect the people

That’s a BS No malice!? I am a former state trooper, and I am disgusted with those police officers. This is a miscarriage of justice. A jury should be ashamed of themselves, and those lawyers are weasels.

The people serving on that jury should be ashamed of themselves. Honor your veterans, unless they are of color of course. This poor man continues to be wronged by everyone on every level……

Sounds like the lawyer for the veteran didn't do a very good job of vetting the jurors.
Cameras showed some cut and dried cop abuse. All this done was proved cops can do what they want when it comes to physical violence.

Like some have mentioned, the attorney for Lt. Nazario was not very well spoken. Definitely affected this case and verdict. I even wonder if the jury saw the bodycams and were made aware of the laws. Clearly more than an unreasonable search was at stake here but they couldn't even get charges pressed at that. I mean no evidence of malice? Did they hear the diatribe from the one cop who threatened to have him "ride the lightning"? And that he should be afraid to exit his car after being told to? What were the juries looking at?

You cannot be liable and not guilty at the same time.

Glad to hear they are appealing. What a garbage verdict the jury came to. How much money were they promised? Unbelievable!

This verdict saddens me. These officers should be charged criminally as well. This is a lesson that it really does matter what attorney you have. I watched The attorney do an interview with Patrick David and he was horrible. I said in the comments back then you need to get yourself a new attorney you're going to lose. Attorneys matter. It's sad to say The more money you have the better attorney you can get and the better outcome in court it's not about justice it's theatrical.

Only when this happens to one of the jurors will they understand it.

As sad as this is, we have to remember that this kind of civil rights violation happens every day in the USA and most of the time, the public never knows about it. At least these cops were caught in their wrongdoing.

It’s so sad that Americans are so used to this kind of encounter that they think this is normal. What is the reasoning? At the end of the video Officer Gutierrez goes into damage control mode. How can jurors look at that and NOT see malice? I don’t get it.

I'd ask the jurors if they would be handled that way and be happy with a four grand settlement?

The military should investigate the police officers !

This is a unfortunate judgment, the officers were guilty of many Constitutional violations. I hope the Army Lt. gets justice.
