If you want the features you’re calling out…..the Acura would be 8k more.

The wrx is a totally different car - in that it’s heavy. For some drivers (myself included) weight is the enemy of fun.

The real competition for this Si is the Hyundai N models and the gti. Considerably more power but considerable disadvantages in build quality, reliability and resale value

This reviewer might want to look at fellow journalists to see where he’s missing valuable insights about the car.

Even in regard to the comparison to the 10th gen, he’s ignoring the benefits Honda baked into this machine from a steering, handling and power delivery perspective. He parroted manufacturer’s claims but failed to see that stiffening the chassis, reworking the tune and raiding the type r’s parts bin actually manifests itself in a better driving experience.

No, let’s focus on the loss of features to manage to a price point.
