The 2022 Honda Civic Si ($33,150 CAD starting, $27,300 USD starting) has returned after taking a step back for the 2021 model year. While this new generation may have a few less horsepower than the previous one, it now comes equipped with a limited slip differential. That will hopefully help make this new Si even more fun off the line and in a corner. As a manual only sporty daily driver, can the 2022 Honda Civic Si give you the best of both worlds? Can you have your cake on the commute and eat it too on the drive home? Watch to see what the guys think! SUBSCRIBE!

It's crazy seeing how much extra features the Canadian Si gets when compared to the American Si. American consumers got screwed over even harder this gen.

That intro was epic! This sums up the Acura Integra design process...

We just got a 2024 (nearly identical to this one) and I have one word to describe it, "balanced". It's the perfect car (under 40k) for someone who wants a comfortable and practical ride 95% of the time but wants the other 5% to be fun and exciting. Well done Honda, well done.

Rev hang has to do mostly with electronics and the ecu. It can be fixed a little by using a lighter fly-wheel. But it is purposely put on the car for emissions to burn off excess fuel, and can be removed with a simple tune.

Weldone guys, I like the way you guys look at each car objectively and really assess it for what the platform really is and not trying to compare it with an M3 or something along those lines. Take a car, analyse it for what it truly is, that's great reviewing, once again, weldone guys, I really enjoy your format over anything else out there, the way Thomas and James complement each other is just a joy to watch.

This actually looks like a car I see myself driving. A decent looking exteriour and definitely a good looking interiour with a nice price range.

With how subtle the new civic is designed I'm kinda excited to see what the type r will look like

This channel is great, its like the best of Savagegeese and the Straight Pipes combined, dark humor but not so dark, fun stuff but not too silly. Amazing and genuine chemistry between Thomas and James, I enjoy watching the technical aspects as much as the humour acts, you guys are great! kudos to the team and thanks for the content!

As an American I never want James to use our version of words don’t change for anybody! You are the best!!!

Respect your review for liking it for what it is and not dissing it for what its not. The cornering, the shifting, the smiles it brought naturally, loved it.

The intro's are probably the part I look forward to the most 😂🤣

This looks like a super exciting car, however I wish it had a higher revving engine like Honda used to put in all of their performance cars.

2016-2017 Accord Sport was available in Canada with push button start, sunroof, heated seats, etc, all of EX goodies, even on 6MT. American version was LX based. They pulled the same crap with this Si.

Best car I’ve ever used my high-end cash to buy.

I have this exact Sonic Grey Pearl color for my 11th Gen Civic Si and I find excuses to go out and drive it day to day

It gives me the feel of what BMWs used to give you back in the day of just pure driving fun.

You guys really nailed all the cool bits my Canadian spec packs and definitely how well it trumps the BRZ/GR86 for that <$35K CAD price while being fun and allowing you lug your family around while still keeping a smile on your face.

Even though it was a two-door, this model reminds me of my '99 Civic Si. Pearl Blue.
Honda absolutely nailed it with this new rendition.

If this specific version was released in the US, I would've already made my choice of next vehicle, especially with Hondata debunking the power loss. I guess Honda is really banking on the new Integra to win over younger enthusiasts (others have said it and I agree, all the missing features will most likely show up in that car when it arrives). For now, the Jetta GLI will remain at the top of my list for next car.

That dashboard being further back in the older civics was a genius piece of design though. Always in your line of sight

I had actually decided on this car over the Elantra N or WRX. Sadly dealers in my area are charging $5k+ markup, which makes this car lose quite a bit of it's bang for the buck it had going for it. Had the same issue but worse with the Elantra. I ended up with a WRX since Subaru itself is cracking down on dealers charging anything more than MSRP. Is what it is I guess.
