At 72mph, i get 41mpg with this car.. once the warranty is up I'll tune it for another 30hp and it will be my daily until it explodes. Love this car

I drove my Si round trip from Vegas to Houston and back. On the way to Houston(with the wind mostly at my back) I got around 40 MPG. On the way back to Vegas(with the wind mostly hitting the front) I got around 35 MPG.
I get around 28 MPG in city driving.

8:14 preach brother preach! I've got a 2019 Accord Sport MT, and when I run econ mode I get about 40 MPG on road trips. Long live the family sedan manual transmission!!!

Nice redesign of the Civic Si. Too bad dealers are price gouging customers, they want thousands of dollars over MSRP if you want one.

just bought a 23' a month ago and I get 45mpg on my commute to work on average. its a 60 mile commute one way and its more downhill than uphill. my best is 49.1 over the commute

Charlie, I am so glad they gave adults a chance to design this generation of Civic. The manual option in the Civic is laudable but less 'enthusiastic' commuters should be offered a 50+ mpg hybrid option.

I really like this new Si but hate how Honda cheaped out the US models vs the Canadian models with no turn signals in the side mirrors and no fog lights. Put those in the US model and this is an awesome buy for a fun daily driver.

Just got my SI December 1st. Just over 2000 miles. Keeping it in normal mode on the highway got a maximum of 40.5 miles to gallon. At 65 to 75 miles per hour. If you believe the computer.??.

This will be great if I can ever get mine delivered. Come on Honda.

I might buy one of these in a few years once Honda puts back on the features they stripped out of it from the last gen and current Canadian version. I currently drive a 2011 Golf TDI that easily gets mid to high 40's for mpg, but isn't sporty. I could take mid to high 30's mpg for more sportiness.

I like the car, but I feel like the seats and steering wheel are missing something.

Si needs a 7th gear for the highway. That’s across last three Si generations.

Something important to note is that w/ a turbocharged car that requires premium fuel, cost per mile is a more important indicator than MPG.

My civic Si gets 35mpg but on premium fuel which costs 15% more.
My wifes 3.5L accord coupe with considerably more HP and torque gets 30mpg on 87 octane.

Her car has a lower cost per mile than mine does.

EPA guidelines foolishly prioritize MPG instead of cost per mile, and in the end the consumer ends up with a laggy turbo motor that has a smaller displacement and higher costs per mile.

For MPG, I get 40 Hwy, 36 combined & 32 City on my 2022 SI

I get 27mpg literally beating the car up. 33mpg while driving shifting under 2500 rpms mixed city/ highway. On road-trips the car actually only gets like 35-36 mpg but that’s probably because I was driving 75-80mph

Oh so 87 octane minimum is perfectly fine? Won’t break the car?

Did you have any issues with adaptive cruise on this model? How does shifter/transmission feel compared to an STI or WRX? Thanks!

If it had a 7th fear the mpg would be greater on the highway. If If altima with more power can get 42mpg I bet this could do that

The real question is, does it require premium fuel?
