Incorrect. How, as a car reviewer, do you not know that the 200hp is actually 220+. Multiple reputable tuning companies have tested and dyno-ed it, Honda lied (probably just for marketing purposes). And keep in mind, that 220hp isn’t to the crank, it’s TO THE WHEELS.

I feel like that’s a huge misconception that not a lot of people understand because someone who disregards the new SI just because of the lack of power has been truly mislead. If it really made 200 hp, it would actually make somewhere around 190ish hp to the wheels.
So quit whining. It DOES makes more power

I would say overall its a better value in all of the compact sports cars.

You can’t compare Honda engine with Hyundai engine. Honda is known for durability, reliability and dependability. They last 10 to 20 years. I still have my 1999 Honda Civic and 2002 Honda Accord. Over 130k miles still runs smooth.

If I could get it at msrp I’d buy it otherwise it’s not worth it. I can get a base 2 series for the same price with better engine and a premium emblem.

Now im REALLY wondering why the Canadian Si comes with better stuff. Is America just being cheap? 🤔

Nice car but Honda cut some corners on this. Hard plastic on the upper door panels, no power drivers seat, no power or USB connections for rear passengers, and no engine temperature gauge in the instrument cluster replaced by an IDIOT light.

I know is the same thing, but I rather wait and get the Integra instead of these cheap made SI. And for future reference, America is a continent. I think you meant the Canadian version vs the United States version. Overall, great video sir. I'm not a big fun of civics, but I enjoyed driving them. And for what you've shown, the old civics (especially the SI) look better than this new one. But then again, Honda is known to manufacture cheap, simple, and reliable vehicles.

Civic are just very behind when it comes to tech and features but it should pay off when it comes to reliability

I test drove one. It didn't feel that special. It just isn't that fast. You also don't get that V-Tec feel, brah. They should've gone with a naturally aspirated 2.5L. Screw gas mileage.

Lmao bargain? They’re trying to push these things above 40k out the door.

If I wanted Fun, I would get a BRZ that does 13.9 in the Quartermile. That is fun to me. Not doing 15.1 seconds, trapping barely 95 and paying 30+k for a car that is slower than it's previous generation, costs more, has less features. The GLI absolutely sh*ts on this car.

Meh, new Elantra N is better. This is the ugliest generation Civic yet.
