R.I.P. Harold Ramis & Ivan Reitman OC

Remember when Phoebe needed to cut apart the fire pole to melt it down, only to have Khumal slide down it again, just moments later? That was great.

My brother and I are lifelong Ghostbuster fans and both us and our families really enjoyed this one!

For your number 1 worst; My four year old son was shouting at the screen, “GET OUT OF THERE! Why is she going in there?!” He even felt that it was a weird decision. 😂

Nothing about how they STILL had no idea what to do with the brother and had to invent a side story with him hunting Slimer?

It was good - not as good as Afterlife in my opinion - but I'd go see it again. As fans of the original Ghostbusters, I think we need to realize that our guys (and gal!) are getting older and just can't keep up with the younger folks. That being said, I think Dan Akroyd's performance was brilliant, Ernie Hudson's character had a very take charge element, and Bill Murray...well, he's Dr. Peter Venkman - need I say more? Glad Annie Potts got to put on that jumpsuit!

The whole ghost girl arc was completely unnecessary

At least this movie is better than the 2016 movie.

Honestly thought when Phoebe was going to sit down and play chess at the park, that Egon was going to appear to console his grand daughter. Was kinda devastated when it wasnt him.

I like how Paul recites the song to try to convince her

I was a little disappointed that none of the OGs Ghostbusters called Walter Peck Mayor Dickless in Frozen Empire

I just saw the movie and it definitely wasn’t bad. I definitely didn’t like the slow build up to the titular frozen empire, but the chemistry between Phoebe and Melody was awesome. It was great to see the original Ghostbusters interact with the new ones, and Kumail Nanjiani does a great job as a fire lord. Though he did need more scenes, Garraka still proves to be a worthy foe.

My son and I had a blast! However, I would have completely been happy with them removing the ghost girl.

Life long GB fan. Loved the movie. I think the problem is also the slow build up. Removing Melody and the Phoebe lapse of judgement and use possessor to get Garraka freed, OR remove Fire Lord and let Melody with her flames do something to help the GBs. That would free up time for more of a day to day sequence of them fighting other ghosts, more OG ghostbusters time, etc.

If you think Phoebe and Melody was a great part of this movie… you’re out of your mind.

Point about Ivan Reitman's presence not felt as much as Harold Ramis': the difference is that Harold was in front of the camera and Ivan behind it. and inserting Ivan's image in this movie after they did with Harold in Afterlife, would have given fuel to haters who would have called that a gaunt tear jerker.
Ivan was beloved by his fans and his family. The tribute at the end is enough for me.
