Why Constructive Criticism Is Overrated #shorts

There's some truth to this honestly. For example, I make beats.

If a multi platinum producer legend like Timbaland OR even anybody I would consider a mentor has constructive criticism, I'll take it regardless.

But when we get to the average listener, a rapper or almost any producer, if I didn't Solicit you for feedback, I don't NEED nor VALUE your constructive criticism so keep it to yourself. If I personally ask you for it, then I value it in that situation.

But the reason the producer legend feedback is automatically Valuable is because of their experience and accomplishments, what they've BUILT (or constructed).

I agree. Criticism is more complaining and whining. Feeback explains and tells how it is.

I'd take constructive criticism from someone I know is already doing something well themselves. I'd still take criticism from someone even if they weren't experienced in that field. I just would take it very lightly and know that they really don't know much about what I am doing.

So basically this is just a way for nobody to be able to tell you anything? I get your sentiment but it honestly just comes off as arrogant and dismissive because it’s possible for a dad whose never done sports before to tell his son he’s not working hard enough at track without trying to destroy his dreams.
