You’re forgetting one thing: Mutagen. In the 2012 and RISE series, these guys were so old they had facial hair. (Although probably because of Splinter’s DNA)

It's also possible that their aging was slowed to roughly the same as a humans when they mutated

Consider that they were teenagers in 1984 when the comic book was released. That makes them about 55 by now in human years.

It’s funny because in the OG Turtles universe (mirage) they are in their 30’s when the book stopped publication but still go by TMNT

Splinter is actually canonically 50 years old which would probably make him over 1000 years old in rat years

It’s Confirmed that Mutagen is a Ozze that Transforms the Creaure into the last thing they had Contact with, the Turtles’ last remaining Contact was a Human as they were Pets before the falls in the Sewers and that Exposure affected Splinter and the Mutanimals as well, even if that wasn’t the Case the Mutagen still has changed their DNA.
