It’s been repeatedly proven that blood sugar spikes are proportional to fiber content, or lack thereof when consuming carbs. Every single food item we consume is a double edged sword( it can harm, or it can heal us) what matters more than ingredients or calories, is the entire context of how we consume them. And most importantly, digestion being 75% of all the bodies energy expenditure, if you fail that, the remaining25% won’t even give you the strength to turn a door knob!
