ATF Pistol Brace Rule Explained... Kind of...

I'm sure you've heard by now, The ATF has released a "Final Rule" on Pistol Braces. This video is to explain the "rule" in the most simple way possible.

Don't rush to do anything. Let the lawsuits get some time. Look at Illinois for example. Much faster results than I have ever seen.

As a law abiding citizen, I am not going to do anything with this rule. Its not law, so nothing is going to happen on my part. I suggest everyone else do the same, don't talk about having a brace, don't mention anything. ATF really doesn't know who has a pistol brace. Unless you submit the paper work to get that free tax stamp. You then incriminate yourself by saying you have an "SBR". I think there is a video out there by Guns N Gadgets where someone spoke to an ATF agent, saying if the item is not approved over a certain amount of time, its an automatic denial, What comes next? They will probably peruse you for that "SBR". So in other words, ITS A TRAP! Non compliance is key. Lets really see how the ATF deals with mass non compliance.

I called my local PD and told them I will not Comply. They said we will not Enforce!

If you don't have a brace or stock, try a sling. I used one with an AK pistol a few times. Instead of pulling to you you push it away from you at the target. It has a tendency to work alot like a shoulder stock, in that the pistol snaps back on target after each shot. It's just a push instead of a pull.

I'll store my legally purchased chunk of plastic wherever I please. Last time I checked, ATF does not write laws, and their stupid "rule" which makes it "unlawful" is, as far as I'm concerned, null and void. The ATF needs a smack down from SCOTUS, just like the EPA got. This is a prime example of why the NFA AND the ATF need to be repealed and abolished. Prohibition is OVER.

Once registered as a SBR you can't take it out of state without the ATFs approval.

What’s crazy, is they are now saying a buffer tube Is ok. So the piece of plastic really is what makes the gun dangerous.

I've emailed my 2 state senators and my state representative several times regarding this ruling and other legislation that would remove SBRs from the NFA. I also emailed my local PD chief and County Sheriff inviting them not to logistically support the ATF in the enforcement of this ruling. I will write letters next week to my local PD Chief and my County Sheriff explaining further of what i've detailed in the emails that may or may not have reached them in the first place. I will donate to GOA.
