The wheel on ours wasn't welded very well and fell off...Second time using it. We had them welded and works great now.

I wonder if buying one of the cheap candle wax warmers that uses an incondescent bulb to heat the wax tray could be used to help stop rust.

Just place it under the steel hood during non-use?

The heat from the bulb should help stop the temperature swings where sweating happens, rust loves?

I season a bit my carbon steel pans on the bottom, that is, apply a very thin wipe of oil every now and then, they have over time gotten very dark on the bottom.

Would applying a thin coat on the bottom of the rolled steel cooking surface help?

Is rust a problem there, too?

Just purchased a 22-inch Blackstone as a gift. Need to keep it covered outside during the year.

Blackstone model 2123 arrived with a defective left side igniter. No estimated replacement date after a month. Look for a better option than Blackstone
