I am excited to the point of tears. So I have wanted a griddle for about 8 years now. We haven't really had extra money to get one. Well Now, thank GOD we are and I got one! I pick it up Friday from Tractor Supply. I'm literally like a kid on Christmas right now with anticipation. I have 6 kids and we use or tiny 17" griddle that my husband literally found it the trash all rusted. We seasoned it will use that one for camping. Thank you for these videos. Im seriously sitting here taking notes.

Thanks for keeping it simple and not complicated, like some folks on YouTube try to.

I bought the seasoning spray. Put it on. Covered it. Went back a week later and it rusted. Only surface, but was kind of surprised.

Need a video using all cleaning products by black stone. I have like a stone and orange pad. What do I do with each?

So after you clean it and put on the last layer of oil, do you leave it on for a bit to burn some of the oil off? I’ve cleaned cast iron befor and oiled it but then it gets sticky.

I just did my first cook. I did 4 passes with the seasoning. I've "cleaned" my Blackstone but how clean does it really need to be? Am I looking for as clean as it was before my first cook? I just did some burgers and it kind of has little areas where I cooked them but there is nothing to scrap and I used the scoring pad on it but no progress. Also when should I reseason? Do I let it cool down, clean, heat up, season, off? Or should I season before my next cook?

After wiping the griddle with a napkin, should I be wiping until the napkin doesn’t have brown stuff on it?

After you clean it and wipe it with oil, do you need to bring it to smoke point or just shut it off and let it cool?

I followed your instructions but when I put the oil on the griddle, the paper towel turns black still. I already used water to steam clean it. should it be like that?

Can you use stainless steel scouring pad to clean this like on restaurant flat tops?

Anyone know what size garbage bags fit good with the 36" Blackstone? Just curious...just bought one.

As I told someone on Facebook the other day, it's made of steel. You aren't going to hurt it.

How do I put the cover on the back and use the grease catch? It seems like it's one or the other.
