Case should have never been filed against the Deputy to begin with. I’m glad the jury followed case law precedence and the evidence in this case.

Thank you for your service. You can't try to run over a deputy and not have consequences.

Thank you Deputy for trying to stop a car thief. he wouldn’t have been shot had he not try to drive away and possibly harm the officer

Can he get his job back now? Even in another state? Everyone in this country is innocent until proven guilty. Give him his job back 🚓

He violated his own depts procedures - shot someone who was not a serious threat to him. Yes he kept driving but he was driving at a low speed - slow enough that the deputy got along side him and shot inside the car shooting him in the back - followed by couple more shots. He was the cop, prosecutor, judge and executor. He claimed to have gotten hit on the knees by the car- well doctors examined liu and determined he had no injuries or bruises at all. We live in a country where everyone should get a fair trial for mistakes made and not killed on the spot. Listen, his family won a 1.75 million dollar lawsuit against the PD/city due to his actions. The DA filed the charges immediately- tell me there is nothing wrong with this shit!? How can you win a lawsuit for wrongful death- but get acquitted for manslaughter? I’m confused and this fuck is clearly lying to save his own ass- and he it worked. He had all kinds of excuses- long hours, on edge - etc. unreal.
