Officer charged with murder for shooting Black man who tried to break up a dispute l GMA

Jonathan Price, 31, was shot and killed by Wolfe City Police officer Shaun David Lucas in a convenience store parking lot after he was trying to diffuse a domestic dispute.

Hold criminal cops accountable. A nurse can't make a mistake and kill someone and remain a nurse. Neither can a doctor. A truck driver can't make a mistake and kill someone and remain a truck driver. A lawyer can be disbarred. A restaurant can loose its license and be shut down. Every other profession in the United States has consequences for bad actions. These cops have none. Hold these criminals with badges accountable. Start taking all this lawsuit money out of the police retirement funds and the police unions and they will start to police themselves.

Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words, just by looking at the photo of Lucas you can tell he is a thug who joined the police to live out a fantasy of jackbootery.

His Black mother crying for him to have only acknowledged the so-called white family that he spoke highly of, and downgraded his blood family. Sad this happened, but the very people he talked against are the ones who are standing up, for him, and the blues lives matter he loved so much took him out.

This man had a legitimate job, ran a legitimate business, and lived his life honorably. Still, you’ll find at least one racist that will try to find something in this man’s past to use to justify the murder, instead of holding the cop accountable. I know that this senseless killing could have happened to anyone. Unfortunately, it happened to a Black man, in a country where racism is very much alive. It’s very sad.

And what makes it worse is that, judging from his facebook posts, he defended cops. He absolutely made it a point to state he had nothing but good interactions with the police. I can't imagine how he must have felt...my heart aches for his family and especially his mother. RIP.
