Aging is a normal part of life. Aging poorly is not. As we age, we all go through changes. But it doesn’t mean that the changes have to affect your life negatively.

Experiencing fatigue, joint pain, forgetfulness, brain fog, bone loss, weight gain, hearing loss, and other issues through aging, however, don’t have to be part of your aging process. Even though society tells us otherwise, these signs are not normal, but signs of aging poorly. Through a healthy diet and lifestyle, you can reduce signs of aging poorly and stay active, energetic, healthy, and happy as you get older.

This is my favourite topic thank you.

Have you seen the research on high fat diets impacting mitochondrial function negatively? An interesting study.

I am aiming to enhance health span as well as lifespan. My macros are 30% protein (plant based with 10g of collagen), 25-30% carbs and 45% fat. All rich in fibre and leafy vegetables. But I am underweight so it makes my protein over 2g per kilo. (100g per day) do you think this is too much? I also do a 4-6hr calorie window. I am in my 30s and female.

Thank you, Dr. Jockers! Is there any added benefit to fasting longer? For example, I fast for 22.5 hours five days a week.

That's the blueprint for healthy aging. I try to practice intermittent fasting every day. Sleep is also very important...I am the same size as you and I also lift weights. But I only eat about 80 grams of protein per day. What are the best protein sources for vegetarians?

I have a question. My gallbladder was removed so now I have a fatty liver and candida. I was doing a plant based diet but I gained 15 pounds. What can I do?

No gluten may help heal the stomach lining/intestinal lining which helps food digest/absorb better. I got 1000X more energy and felt 20 years younger after two weeks of 100% no gluten. Gluten is in Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten...is a grass. Low sunlight may trigger gluten issues.
