For some reason, most CCs are underplaying her. She was already looking strong pre-buffs. And even now after buffs, people are still claiming she's not that much better than Anby (and no one ever talks how clunky to play Anby is, on top of being weaker, and on top being less universal - Qingyi can be paired with any attacker). Remember, before their release, Kazuha was said to be "just a 5 star Sucrose" (=not worth), Baizhu was "just a Yaoyao sidegrade" (=not worth), and finally Yelan was dismissed because "Xingqiu c6 is better", and lo and behold, even to this day those are pivotal, top meta units with very high usage in the Abyss. Point being, Hoyo players can't judge a character properly for shit. Now they say "we have Anby, so Qingyi is not needed", but in future they will regret skipping her.
