EDIT: Seems like consensus is the hot pot WENGIN is the go to. I'm not totally sure it's better, but for now just know that's what most people agree to go with! (i still kinda think fossil is better but we'll talk more about this another day)

I've never spent so much time testing a character as I have during the Qingyi beta (including all my Genshin stuff) as I've had to learn so many characters from the ground up to do proper comparisons. So although we can all understand this stuff won't age well because we are early in the game, I really am doing my best to give you the most honest thoughts I can based on the info I have right now. My biggest issue with the Anby vs. Qingyi comparison is that Anby's Daze is so back loaded. If you have to dodge or get hit out of your combo, you lose so much Daze. Meanwhile, Qingyi can dodge and immediately go back into her BA3. She also offers a lot more utility with her damage boost.

Anby is still great, and I love that we get a good stunner for free, but there's more to the game than purely how fast she can proc a stun. I'll gladly take a slightly slower Stun speed for an *80%* damage boost.

Your ultimate level also affects your chain attack damage, which you don't use that often with the stunner, but you still do sometimes

What matters more than anything is if Qingyi allows you to hit a damage breakpoint that lets you shave off a stun cycle. If you can go from killing in 2 stuns to killing in 1 stun, or from killing in 3 stuns to killing in 2 stuns, it is a very big difference, but if that happens is completely depended on your current gear and the enemy you are fighting. That is also why I don't like the statement on the relative power of going from Anby to Qingyi without her weapon to Qingyi with her weapon based on your clear time, because the numbers just happened to line up in a way where Anby to Qingyi did not hit the breakpoint but with her weapon it did, but it would be easy to imagine a scenario where just going from Anby to Qingyi allows you to kill in 1 stun, in which case the weapon would only save a couple of seconds at most. The way to test it in a "fair" way would be to look at how much damage each set up would do in a single stun window relative to each other, but with the understanding that the differences only really matter, if it a damage breakpoint is hit.
Genshin also works kinda in the same way, where there are only major differences in clear speeds, if you can do a clear with less rotations. Otherwise you are only saving seconds, even if theoretically you should be doing significantly more dps.

She puts more damage with her passive, she has better stun multipliers, she can clean shiyu super fast, she can evade damage without losing her ba3 combo, and you can place it on every team that you want. I will pull for her, shes talilor made for ZY. Im using a c0 anby for the moment, so zero invest on anby.

The thing is, there's 2 sides to SD, and while the 300 standard pulls can guarantee you a 2nd stunner, that will take a while. I'm at around 175 or so, and obviously the "free" pulls have dried up. Getting to 300 will happen, but it'll take *months*. Wasn't lucky enough to get either of the 5* standard stunners so... is Qingyi worth it? In my case? Definitely. If I could clone Anby and use her on both sides I'd be more willing to hear your argument as to how she's not that massive of an upgrade... but having a second stunner, no matter who it is, is a MASSIVE boon to your 2nd team, and I can't be the only one who hasn't gotten Koleda or Lycaon.

If you've seen the possible character line up from dreams, you probably already know that there won't be any new stunner anytime soon be it A rank or S rank. If you don't like the anomaly playstyle, don't have 2 stunners, and want to clear shiyu as soon as possible then picking up Qingyi might be the move

The new Obsidian: Strategic Partner missions are kicking my butt. Any recommendations on what level of investment my characters should be? I don’t have enough characters built to bring the recommended elemental damage, so i’m left to brute forcing them with zhu yuan and the cunning hares

As of right now I find most of this a little misleading. While I do agree Qingyi isn't a "must pull" for some people, I think you're focusing too much on Anby future potential and not really giving the same thought to Qingyi. I find that right now my Qingyi stuns alot faster and more consistantly than Anby because like you said in your own video no one has a maxed out Anby right now. Her combo also doesn't get interrupted by aggressive bosses. If you truely wanna compare future Anby vs future Qingyi you also have to also consider the fact that bosses in the future will be harder and Anby gives almost no utility while Qingyi give 80% extra stun damage while also doing more damage herself. Lastly, alot of people only have 1 stunner and no real access to anomaly teams which really adds to her value as we don't know when another stunner might come.

for teams to try, I know this is niche, but I have heard that ben/lucy/nicole is actually pretty good? definitely not optimal but there must be something interesting going on there (ben's crit buff on the little pig men?? no idea). anyway, something to consider for your ben guide!

So a few days before qingyi released I actually got koleda on the standard banner. So now I have a potential team now with my Solider 11 and Lucy. However I haven’t built or leveled koleda yet. Do you think it’s worth building her? Or go for qingyi? Or skip her?

Don't understand why you are comparing maxed out Anby to starting Qingyi. I rolled 200 plus times on the standard banner and only got a single Copy of Anby. And I'm not F2P. The vast majority of people do not have maxed out Anby. Also if Qingyi is better still than maxed out Anby she's vastly better than C0-4 Anby.

I’m getting Qingyi so I can get my second team really strong (Soldier 11, Qingyi, Lucy) and then I’m gonna begin saving for Harumasa and Miyabi (since I love both of them and I am also a guy lover over a girl lover)
