That's a nice way to kick someone out of your place in a nice way

Neil's approximation is still too small, considering that all of the planets (including Jupiter and Saturn), can fit in the space between the Earth and the moon.

380, 000km divided by 6, 400km of earth’s diameter =60, meaning that it is 60 times the earth’s diameter far away.

And they said they went to the moon make that math make sense

The moon is only 5 1/2 times the distance of earth at the equator from earth. Earth measures 40075 mile at the equator the moon is 226000 to 380000 miles away from earth. She said 25 inches would be 11.5 feet I guessed 40 inches would be 16.5 feet.

Given the earth is 20 inches in diameter... The moon will have to be about 50 feet away.

Actual diameter of Earth = 12700 kms approximately
Diameter of moon 3474 kms
Distance between earth and moon = 384400 kms

She is trying to find something useful for her to do, she adds nothing to the conversation but she's trying to be cool
