Awesome car. A billion dollar subsidy for a race program is a brilliant play and the exposure on the road brings much attention to the track. The circuits should be paying Ford as well for the market presence that brings to racing. Stunning look and performance for a street legal road car. Not for everyone on the price side of course but not many would turn one down either. Just what color, right??? Worthy of it's strips for sure! Congratulations Ford.

Nice review but surely this is a track day car, didn't Ford tell us they would build a road going hyper car? and a V6? this is a familiar story, I'm recalling the Jaguar XJ220 row, is it any wonder people are being a bit negative about it ?

I suspect Ford isn't making more than a thousand because they probably lose money on each car sold. Even at 500k. That's only half a billion 😉 and it takes far more to develop and build a car from scratch. Is this a totally new car or a parts bin or combo? Not sure. Either way what an amazing car. Would love to just see one let alone drive it.

Saying this car won Lemans is like saying a Ford Taurus won the Daytona 500, The car being sold is not even close to the pure Race car racing at Lemans, Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GT was pure race car chassis engine, And it did not have a Ecoboost V-6 from Ford It had a pure Cosworth built by same people build Indy and F-1 engines .

this car will need to do the Nordschleife in less than 7:10 to get some respect, any slower and it will be a big disappointment.
