A lot of people don't realize that the weight to hp ratio and balance of the areo is engineered to have the 6 cylinder in the car being the perfect performance match ! That's why the seat doesn't move ! The suspension and weight balance was calculated for maximum performance ! Otherwise why not put in a V12 or V8 ? Mathematically it decreases performance ! This is a road car not a drag car my fellow gear heads !

For those people whining about it "only being a V6", the Porsche 911 GT2 RS is "only a 3.8L F6" and it gets to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds... you don't need 8 or more cylinders to go ridiculously fast.
I give total props to Ford for this fantastic piece of engineering!

Just because our Car culture prefers Drag racing over Road courses, doesnt mean We cant build a world class Track car to rival Europe's Best. Ford Has to Remind the World of that every 50 years or so. The Ford GT is instantly better than ALL others when it is sold to Public, becasue Ford makes sure they WIN LAmans GP with the car, before they do any else. Pedagree restored to 100!

Last time I was at Laguna Seca, David Hobbs was driving the McClaren BMW 320 twin turbo. Ford did a real work of art with this little beauty.
