This was filmed on a closed course - Do Not Attempt

The 2006 Ford GT ($149,995 USD original MSRP / ~$188,400 CAD converted, $469,900 CAD current / ~$371,700 USD converted) is a supercharged V8 behemoth with undeniable curb appeal and a merciless driving experience on the track. Thanks to the styling that pays homage to the ‘60’s race cars of yesteryear, the Ford GT can still turn heads while among the modern supercar crowd. Thomas and James have planned to take it to a local race track in Vancouver to see just what it can do. However, they may just discover that a 550 hp rear-drive Ford GT proves to be a bit challenging to handle in the wet, and can be a bit...dangerous...Watch to see what happens! SUBSCRIBE!

A MASSIVE Thank you to Drive Motorsports Vancouver for Lending us their Ford GT

Was a valet in college and despite being in multiple supercars, this one always stood out. It was so low. The seats, so cool. The supercharger in the rear view, epic. Best 5mph of my life.

you can't fake that kind of pure guttural fear. I felt the moment James spun it. And when Thomas almost lost it. That shit is terrifying

That car with that tyres is a death trap, don't feel less because that incident, you took it like a champ.

Thomas and James are approaching Top Gear level production quality. This is wild. Well done guys.

I just imagine poor James, slunk low in a camper chair, shivering in the rain and clutching his cup of tea, whispering “it’s ok James, it’s ok”

The best thing about these guys is, they are us. No acting, no faking....just regular guys enjoying stuff.
No showing off, nothing to be heroic about.
Genuine review, genuine expressions!
It's been a long time I have been hooked up to a car show like this.
Production level is going miles and miles in each video. 👌👌

The shot of the tire tracks missing the barrier by two feet was INTENSE

I once drove a c5 z06 with 10 year old tires on the highway. I was in 3rd doing about 60, dipped into the throttle and the back end wanted to come around. I took the next exit and swapped seats with its owner. Old tires are legit death traps. I wouldn't of even tried this in the wet with a Ford GT. That's just bonkers. And you can't fake that expression when James spun it.

My neighbor dailyed one of these and drove it out from Toronto to California. He even parked it on the street. When a storm came through town I offered him my garage and he took me up on it. Best car that ever sat in my garage. I just looked at it in awe.

The sheer terror on their faces when the car kicks out makes you realize what a beast this car really is. As well as the amount of talent racers had to control these monsters at the limit all the time when racing them.

U know those mini heart attacks you have when ur car suddenly gets away from u without you intentionally doing it? Yea I had those heart attacks when watching Thomas and James losing the rear end of the GT. Also GG James for saving that half a million dollar spin

It has to remind us all what an amazing driver Ken was he pushed that car to the limits and broke records in it at over 200 miles per hour. And in the end the the car even got him and he wasba master racer.Took alot of courage for you guys to push that animal just a little bit.GREAT SHOW GUYS!!!

James acting as a race dummy legit made my heart race. The production is amazing and your are both amazing and hilarious!

my favorite thing about this car is how raw it is — really needs an attentive driver

James standing there the entire time in that race suit is the greatest moment in Throttle House history.

I worked at a Ford dealership in high school - we got three GT's. I was very lucky to take one out one night and go through the gears in an industrial complex that was behind our dealership. Savage car. ANYONE who says 500 hp isn't enough needs to experience a flat foot in one. The GT is an absolute beast to drive.

You can hear the adrenaline surging and heart racing in his breathing when he comes to a full stop. You know he had to have been close to just passing out when he got out of that car. lol Good job on controlling the spin!

Damn, that spin out and the terror on James face really hit me. I've been in accidents and close calls; the sound of screeching tires and spinning out feels like a lifetime of panic, fear, regret, reminiscence, clarity, and forgiveness all bottled in 2-10 secs. It's crazy. I felt for him for real

BESIDES THAT, AMAZING CAR!!!!lol. Top notch work again from these legends

This puts into perspective the insane level of skill it took to drive these cars at 200MPH in the 60’s.

17 year old tires have no grip no matter what the temperature is.
RIP Paul Walker.
