There was a pair of women who learned how to make authentic burritos and opened a restaurant in Portland, OR. They were forced out of business because someone thought and pursued harassment policies based upon them "culturally appropriating" another cultures ethnic food. My question is why aren't Pizza shops not policed for authentic Italian ownership?

As an Indian i have no problem with white women doing Yoga (especially if they wear yoga pants) and no problem with people eating Indian food as long as i can eat fish and chips and Chinese Food!!

I had to point out to black college student in my class that Japanese doing hip hop was not about wanting to be black as either was her straightening her hair meant she wanted to be white. The beauty of the world is to share and imitate bits of another group’s culture while adding the native’s take on that. When we hear Asians on Britain Got Talent sing Michael Jackson but then add Asian dance and Hindi lyrics, that is good. The crowd went wild.

I saw an article on a left-leaning website not too long ago asking why Japanese people weren't outraged that white people were such avid consumers of "their" culture.
Most of the comments were from Japanese people, in perfect English, wondering why they shouldn't just feel flattered.
