****** About Living Traditions Homestead ******

Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.

We put out 5 new videos every week! Tuesday through Saturday. We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we transition from city dwellers to full time homesteaders!

OK, I've got a complaint. I was perfectly happy eating boiled eggs. In fact that's what I have for breakfast most mornings. Then I see this video in and amongst your other vids and out of curiosity I sent the link to my wife. She watched your video and much to my surprise (this was five days ago), she goes to the store and brings back 3 or 4 dozen eggs and does your pickling thing to 2 dozen which we put in a half gallon mason jar. Today I cracked them open. Oh my. You have now ruined what I used to be perfectly happy with. These are way too good. My wife doesn't even like boiled eggs and SHE likes them. (Did I mention I love my wife?) Now we're going to have to go to the trouble to make these all the time. Actually, thank you. These are WAY good!! Oh, and she sliced up the Jalapenos and I love the little Jalapeno slices as well as the eggs.

Just an update. Tried this recipe last week. After a week of soaking, I tasted my first egg today. Absolutely delicious. Added some onions to the mix and those tasted great as well. The jalapeños added just enough spice to give it a kick without being too hot. Thanks for uploading this.

I love 1 gallon jars of Mt. Olive Dill Pickles and when the pickles are gone I add eggs and a few peppers to the solution in the jar and make pickled eggs! They come out tasting like deviled eggs, so tasty! When the eggs are gone then I have the jar for storage!

Really great vid! I've eaten pickled eggs for 50 some years and just wanted to tell you that you could of gotten all those eggs and both jalapenos! You just have to layer the peppers throughout the eggs so they take up the voids between the eggs! Lol
WHERE THERES A WILL!!😎

I made this recipe from you a couple of years ago. Wow! I don't know why I stopped making them. Anyway, I am now and I am sharing it with my adult kids who I think will like them too.

Sarah, I watched this video yesterday I put 29 frizzle eggs in a half gal jug, and it filled it up. I used a qt of ACV (no water) and picked a few rosemary sprigs from my garden and some seasonings I have, used a lil turmeric, and put them up, well last night before bed, I ate one and was like oh my already they are the bomb. Then when I got up this morning I began eating them for breakfast and I can already tell they are NOT going to last till the can eat by date in 10 days. haha girl these things rock my world. I like em! thnx so much for sharing the recipe. Oh I didn't have jalapenos but I used red pepper flakes. yum yum listening to it again I heard you say "If you can wait at least a week, that would be good." haha if you can wait right that is a big IF.

Hi Love watching and learning from you. I made your spicy Jalapeno Eggs last night, can't wait to try them. If you add your Jalapeno slices in the open spaced of eggs at each layer you can get 12 eggs and 2 Jalapeno in the quart jar.

This was great! I will say that after decades of having my own fresh eggs, steaming them and peeling them still warm under cold water is the way to go. I like my eggs that I'm going to pickle to be really fresh for food safety reasons. Just as a precaution. I have made many with less fresh eggs and they were fine. My family loves a touch if fresh dill in their pepper pickled eggs.

My dad and I absolutely LOVE using huge jars of mild banana pepper ring juice for picked eggs! Just eat (or throw out, if you're a wimp), all or most of the pepper rings, and use leftover brine to pickle the eggs! AMAZING

Oh I have lots of pink Himalayan salt. I love that stuff! It's great that you use it!

These pickled eggs are the best! They taste just like spicy deviled eggs, but are so much healthier. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

My family loves this recipe. I use it with quail eggs so they are bite size. 👍

Keeping this one to try with my eggs. My hens aren't laying very well right now. I know it's the triple digit heat but once they do I'll use this one. Thank you for your videos and for sharing! God bless you!
