How to Fix PS5 Game Disc Not Copying (Fast Tutorial)

Do you want to know how to fix the game disc not copying on the PS5! To do this, try delete a game and freeing up storage space. Then turn off your PS5, clean the disc with a cloth, and launch your PS5 into the safe mode menu. Then rebuild the database and insert the game disc to start copying again.

Okay so, it may seem frozen but it’s actually still copying (could be a visual bug), if you give it some time and then eject and reinsert the disc, the copy should either go up (in this case just leave it in and give it more time) or if finished, the rest of the game should download normally

I have found a fix too well it worked for me. And that was dissconect my ps5 from the internet when copying from disk. For me atleast it seems the game was trying to download instead of copy. So it went from 26 hours to 12 mins when i restarted the copy.

I'm having the same problem with that same game. Disk looks good. Cleaned it multiple times with a microfiber cloth. Restarted my ps5. Even tried a hard reset. And it's brand new out of the box so I'm not sure rebuilding database would do any good. So far this system has kind of been a let down. No internet browser app (i know theres ways to access internet but its basically only good for text. Not streaming videos or anything). Can't even download a game that works fine on my ps4. And had to buy a new TV because for some odd reason it didn't want to work on my other TV even after I tried multiple fixes I found online, which none worked. Ugh. All I want to do is play my game! 😮‍💨

Idk why but when i try too download my ps4 rd2 on my ps5 game it keeps on stopin at 17.4

I think I have found a fix my disk of dead island 2 kept getting stuck about halfway through installation. So what I did was I started the installation paused it at around the halfway point. I then waited for the game update to download. After the update downloaded I installed the update and then I unpaused the installation I was able to get the game to install fully. And it was for the game Dead Island. Hope this helps. But in all honesty Sony needs to get this s*** fixed it's ridiculous. Nothing like paying $500 for a console only to have to jump through hoops to get a game to install. But yeah I hope this helps

one important thing to note that if the game is on disc you should take it out and clean it off after that it should fix the queue
