It's true about the hot water! My lovely Co-worker is from China and she just has hot water to drink. She says it really helps in digestion. Guess what I'm doing now? Drinking hot/warm lemon water 😉

HOT WATER! I always wondered why going out to eat in America was such a toss up for my IBS, but never at Chinese restaurants, and discovered that it was the ice water that was throwing my bowels out of balance. Now, I always order hot water or hot tea whenever I go out to eat. It's weird how surprised people are by my choices, but I'd like to be able to keep the food I just ate XD

Liquid seasonings are so underrated in western cooking, I love cooking with vinegars and sauces throughout the process instead of mixing it in at the end of a dish!

Indian here. My Ayurvedic doctor stresses on drinking hot water and running far far away from iced drinks. NGL, it makes a HUGE difference to my stomach.

We were holidaying in Egypt and everyone there was drinking hot tea through out the day and it was insanely sunny and hot but never did an ice cube touch the lips of a local.

Warm water is actually good for you it helps you digest faster and it helps you lose weight. Because it’s not cold so it’s not shocking your system because our bodies are meant to drink warm water or room temperature.

Yeah, personal space and privacy is so valuable. Unintentionally i step away from ppl when they move too close, sometimes it may look rude.

When I first moved to China, I felt drinking hot water even in summer was strange but then I got used to it and never had a stomachache while I was living there

I am german and Ialso drink hot water. I know some other people who do that too. But i would hate every stranger touching me, keep your distance!!

I travelled through china for a month and now I mostly drink hot water during winter, love it.

I had a friend who was severely constipated, so was her teen. So bad, the teen had to go to the hospital. Nothing helped. I drink several quarts of hot water per day, advised they try it at least at breakfast or before breakfast and it cured their constipation immediately. They are working on eating more fruits and veggies, but the hot water has helped them go from pooping painfully less often than once a week to every morning!

I hate cold water and any cold drinks. I was in Vietnam and it was so hard to get something hot. I would fit so well in China xx

Not Chinese but I love hot water! When I was a kid I used to drink hot milk before bed, but it upset my stomach so we switched to hot water. Now it’s such a comfort ❤
