I think it’s also a hassle to eat out in the US. You have to get seated, get served, then wait for the bill. In Vietnam, I can just sit down anywhere, eat all fast, pay all fast, and leave. Don’t need to socialize with anyone.

A lack of understanding of history seems to be an American cultural trait. I think it may be because the US only has a limited shared history, past that point every family has a different history from a different part of the world which could be divisive.
