Oh, can you share why you should add oil into water when steaming? I’ve never done that before!😮

My intercultural relationship brought me immense pain as an italian. I had to watch my Korean boyfriend slather every pasta dish in RANCH!!!

Can you please make more videos about how to cook the Chinese food. What kind of oil they're using and what kind of spices and sauces?

I did not know that either about boiling and steaming veggies!! Always tried to guess when they were done 😅. Going to start using this practice in my cooking

Absolutely true about cutting vegetables. I use to be a cook or chef or whatever. And i didn't use the technique most people used and people told me my food tasted better. Principal of macrobiotic cooking.

❤❤❤ I just watched all of your shorts after getting recc'd the other day. I enjoyed everything that you've shared, so thank you. And I did report some bad comments. Hopefully actions of mine is helping you in the algorithm.

Very cool to see! It looked like you were still getting used to using the chinese style cleaver so if you dont mind a little tip from a stranger, when handling especially bigger knives, try using your pointer and thumb to hold on to the base of the blade. It really helps to balance the weight of the knife and gives you easier control of the knife.

Same thing in Mexican cuisine. We have a million different ways of making the same thing

i’m in an intercultural relationship with a Korean guy and food is definitely the one thing we fight about. Finding balance is difficult when our palates are completely different. But, one thing we can always count on is Chinese food! we both love it😋 truly excellent cuisine

I had this weird noodle dish that had the same veggies but they werent cut small enough. The chef probably just snapped each carrot and broccoli in 3 and called it a day. Felt more like a rabbit eating a salad than having stir fried noodles.

It was at an asian noodle place too.
