A fun addition I found out about the limit location that may help people with a bit of OCD. If you check the box named [Affect Transform] it'll make the limit location modifier also limit the physical limits of the bone.

As in, the tab named [Item] (I think), you can see the distance a thing has moved in the various axis. If you don't check that box on the modifier it'll just keep going past that point. This might cause issues if you try to get more complex with your rigging and such. I feel it should be on by default but it isn't so, there you go.
