DISABLE Auto Start Stop on a Ford F150 with FORScan

How to disable your auto start-stop feature on Ford F150's.

If you want to disable auto start/stop on your F150 (works on 2021-2023 models for sure, don't know about older models or the upcoming 2024 refresh, but I'm pretty sure its the same or similar.) Go into your infotainment system. Bring up Features. Bring up towing. Choose select default trailer. That's it. That's all you have to do. Don't use forscan, Don't buy any devices. Don't jumper the button. Don't disconnect the BMS from the negative lead on the battery. The truck will think a trailer is connected, but it won't cut off your backup camera, or give you any warning messages or anything like that. Plus you don't run any risk of voiding your warranty, or shorting your circuitry with some cheap Chinese "auto start eliminator, " or by plugging in some trailer circuit test kit that isn't designed to be left in as you drive the truck every day leaving it exposed to the elements.

Hello, I own a Ford Transit 2020 model. When the sliding door is opened, the engine shuts off while in gear. How can I cancel it with Forscan?

I wonder if the other two options will disable the switch where you can manual do it and it pop up “off” in orange. I also wonder if that other option allows the display not to pop up on the dash saying it’s off

Rob, good video, failed to mention if you disable start/stop, you also disable your connection for trailer lights. I figured out the hard way that the previous owner of my 2019 F-150 had done just that. So how about a video on re-enabling it

I followed this step by step but it also disabled my Drive modes as well as the Auto start/stop so I had to reverse it back to the original on FORScan. Did this happen to any of you as well?

Rob, I disabled on my 2021 Ford Bronco. Another Youtuber indicated it also disables some safety features. I have not found anything on the internet to support that statement. Are you familiar with this?
