But there’s a strange pattern... stolen phones are showing up at the same location. One person traveled across the globe for answers. Is the multi-trillion dollar company involved? Let’s dive into the mysterious disappearance of iPhones.

This is why my father never let us throw away or give away our electronics. He knew that its a security risk.

What pisses me off is that if you show the police exactly where your phone is in real time, they don't care...but if you go a get your phone, you're a vigilante.

Who would have thought a stolen phone would end in a wholesome friendship.

That's actually scary that someone could see all of your personal photos and you don't even realise

I feel sorry for the people who had their phones taken from. As for Matt and Brother Orange, I am glad they met and became friends in spite of the circumstances.I just know they’ll have a strong bond for life. As Spill said, not all phone theft stories end in friendship. If they made a movie about this, I’d watch.

Never keep your phone in your back pocket. There are thousand's of cute little bags for both men and women that you can get really cheaply right now.

I was an Uber driver a few years back.
I once picked up an older aged, little Asian guy in Baltimore City and drive him out to the county. The whole time he was explaining to me that his job was to pay young thugs for the Iphones that they stole and he resells them to the person that he delivers them to. He was paying them hundreds for the phone and he was getting an excellent return.
He even told me about how he was set up for a robbery.
Being an Uber driver was fabulous!!!

I remember a photo of a woman's bruised and battered face showing up as the most recent photo on my mother's phone years ago. We noticed it down in the corner of the camera app while taking pictures, but when we clicked it to see what the heck it was, it was no longer in the photo gallery. It was a pretty unsettling experience...

The sad thing is people will buy the stolen phones thinking they are refurbished, without even realising that they are stolen.

I'm here due to a neighbor finding a phone in an uber; he held it for days, owner turns up today and they were ecstatic it wasn't sold nor thrown..
A good ending for tourist and makes me adore my neighbor even more..
However, we're still surrounded by a heartless community most of the time.. ..all for a buck..

It’s a horrible experience losing your phone and worse if someone steals it. My phone was stolen in London (came to know later that the city is known for such crimes) and later sent to Dubai and from there ended up in shenzhen, china. Beware of your belongings in the UK, it is stated that over 90, 000/- phones are stolen per annum and this number increases yearly as the police do not help at all. In my experience, the police completely ignored my complaints and took no action to help recover the phone even after I consistently informed them about the whole incident being on cctv cameras and since the thief was a Romanian begging lady in that area, it should’ve been a very easy recovery had they taken interest. It’s unfortunate that London police don’t bother to help with such crimes and indirectly this encourages theft as the thieves know that no action will be taken for such crimes. Extremely Disappointing.

I saw on the news of multiple people showing up at some guys house when their stolen devices were found at his location but he said it was a glitch and he didn’t have the stolen phones. That should be another story to investigate.

Leave your phone at home, when you go at a festival, club, etc. Try this at least once or twice. Just go old school. Who knows, you might enjoy being phone-free.

I stay in South Africa. Here it is even a bigger problem. We hardly take our phones out. If you have a call you go into a store or safe place to answer it, or just wait until you are home and contact them back. As soon as you put your phone down or use it in public it's bound to be grabbed.
