I was always told to fight back, scream, make as big of a scene as possible, never let them take you to a second location. Though my mom always told me to scream "fire", because she worried that screaming "help" wouldn't actually garner a big enough response. How sad is that.

I attended a safety seminar years ago and the police detective said NEVER GO ANYWHERE with an assailant even if they have a gun or knife. Force them to do whatever their going to do right then and there. Do not allow them to take you to the place they've picked out that's best for them to commit their crime.

I am from Greece and here you literally can't touch anyone in public even late at night if you scream a bit people will come out and see what's wrong and by see I mean they will literally beat you and break your bones if you try to harm someone that's why people don't really do shit here.
