#4 DIY 30 Min Maxi Dress -Derri's Diary| Sew Derri

Hi everyone! In this video I show you how to make this super simple maxi dress. It actually only took me about 20 minutes to make, but I was trying to record this video, so it took a little longer.
-The time it takes for you to finish your dress will vary depending on your sewing skills
-I use a regular sewing machine and a serger to complete this dress.
-2yds of fabric, matching thread, scissors, fabric weights, and a tank top are all you need to make this dress.

Hey everyone, the type of fabric that I used is stretch fabric! I believe it was 4 way stretch but 2 way will also work! Also, for the folding...fold it right sides together, and then fold in half again. This allows you to only have to cut once!

Great tutorial! One hint, when turning under the armhole and neckline edges, it helps to press in place as well.

I didn't have real stretchy fabric but I used a beautiful turquoise with white sun faces scarf and it turned out great!! Thank you. 👍

I love the way you teach. Please do more videos. I am just learning how to sew and this video has really inspired me.
