The more I watch these, the more I realize I should never do this.

Had this gentleman do my tint. 2 years later still looks tight AF. Cannot give him enough credit on such quality craftsmanship.

This is a good tip for every time I redo my window tint at home. By myself

I don’t own a car or have a license, nor do I plan on customizing cars anytime soon… but I just subbed because there’s something addictive about watching people who are good at what they do.

Thanks for sharing this! Although I am confident I could not do this on my own, it’s so good to see someone that’s an expert at what they do. It’s just appreciated seeing somebody do something correctly.

I have learned how to tint a window in the span of like 10 minutes. Thanks to you, I have not a clue when I'll use this info but I know

Back in the 80s we bought tint from the auto parts store. We used a pen knife or a razor blade and a ton of windex while smoothing it out with a card card. Lasted forever.

Nah, this man explained this too well and made it look too easy. Gonna have me wasting my time, money, and patience before taking it to a professional

Thank you so much, this really changed everything. This is the hardest DIY project I’ve ever taken on ever. I have literally built a small house just by watching YouTube videos. Window tint is a whole new ball game. Respect!

I think the common misconception is that you will overheat the film and burn through it. Keeping a good distance helps that, along with trusting the process. Great video!

The slow addition of medium heat allows the tint film to 'spread'the big crease into smaller creases which become easier to adhere to the curved surface. I used to work as a vinyl signage applicator person - vinyl graphics material works in the same manner.

This is def a dumb question but how are you squeegying it from the inside when you've applied the sticker on the outside of the window? What am I missing? I'm so confused

Tint goes on one side so how does it go from outside to inside? Honestly curious. Initially it starts on the inside then he shows you how to do it on the outside to fix the problems on the inside.

Tinting is 100% an art and it really does take skill, know how, patience. Whether it seems simple or not, some scenarios may be, stuff like this though, man. It’s hard to not get the film adhesive dirty, fold it and make it stick, get the bubbles out, you really need more film to do it a few times or more your first time. I’ve never done a back window and honestly I would rather just remove the window and make sure it’s perfect since I never do it and it would honestly probably save me time in the long run.

I did my own tint 5 years ago. 2 months later it was bubbling. I ripped it off and went to a good shop. 4 1/2 years later and it still looks new.

If that happened, any tips to fix it other than replace them with new ones?

I have no interest in doing this myself but the videos are so dang soothing to watch. I love them! Thanks

I tinted my own windows. Wasn’t to bad. The last one I tinted came out the best. On the particular tint I was using the secret was just tons of water with a spray bottle. This actually looks easier than what I was doing

This is useful for something I may do 10 years in the future
