5 Years of Marriage In 10 Minutes

We had hoped this video would go up on Sunday as that was December 19th... 5 years of marriage to the day, but thank you for your patience as we're a few days behind in our upload schedule.

I'm not sure what I thought marriage would be, but there's definitely no way I could have ever predicted what we've created together. I'm so grateful to have a partner like Lou who is caring, thoughtful, and so passionate about living a life that's authentic to his desires. These have truly been the best 5 years of my life and I have a good feeling the next 5 will be even better.

We're so grateful for this creative life and you are a huge part of it. Sharing these stories with you has been such an incredible experience for Lou and me to do together. We get to spend all our days collaborating, creating, living, and exploring this world and that's thanks to your support.

Cheers! My husband & I have been married for 16 years, I was 19 when we married & now am 35. Most people say getting married when your that young is not a good idea, that you change so much in your 20s. We found that we did change, but we changed & grew together & through all the ups & downs we are stronger, happier, better, & enjoy the world through each other more each year. When I was listening to you're commentary about a simple life not wanting a life that feels busy or crowded or rushed I felt moved to share as a new mama and leave you a little message. Being a new mama for me has felt so busy, crowded and rushed.... but in the most incredibly wonderful, juicy, potent way. It's impossible to know what parenthood will be like but I know that having spent 32 years of my life not being a parent it was such a huge letting go of the control of my life and how i want it to look in each moment. Parenthood is such a wild ride, and the most beautiful, messy, rushed, crowded one. I wanted you to know this because sometimes life will get so completely overwhelming for you both in the coming months, it won't look anything like you wanted, intended or supposed it would look.... you'll wonder how you got here, wish you could just be you two again, feel guilty for that and a myriad of other guilts you'll need to settle with . And yet, you'll have this little being who takes you by the heart into a new world that isn't just about you anymore, your focus will go fuzzy on yourself and centre on them and that too is totally beautiful. Its the craziest thing. And having spent your life thus far so self focused on creating and carving the life you want for yourselves there will be a powerful letting go of that. It's hard and beautiful and juicy and new and I'm really looking forward to seeing this transition from the other side of the world xxx <3
