Online dating used to be good for meeting new people and just having a good time. Since about 2018, it has gotten worse. I think social media has played a part in its decline

I used a few dating sites then stopped. Too many scammers, bots or people who judge you by your looks etc. Met a few who had a list of things they were looking for in a person and they reject you right away.
