I made it "by mistake" because I didn't add enough water, too much oil and in one pan, laziness level max. It was good 😊

I’m going to try this soon! I finally made it over to the international market in my area and saw that they have any type or size bags of tteokbokki you could want.

When I make Tteokbokki, I like to stir fry it first or pop them in the air fried so that it's crispy outside, and chewy inside! I want to try this method too! I have fallen in love with Tteokbokki. It's become one of my safe foods lately, and I crave it a lot! <3

I should try this cuz EVERY SINGLE TIME I MAKE tteokbokki it always turns out disgusting no matter how many different ways I cook it either that or I probably just don’t like it but want to like it 🤷‍♀️

I tend to boil the ddeok with little water and drop oil in it then let the water evaporate and the oil will stay and fry the ddeok.. once it's browned on the outside that's when I add the sauce paste and it's just so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the sauce is so flavourful

Ohhhh this looks so good yum. Thanks for sharing. I tend to like mine less sweet, will adding less sugar mean it won’t caramelize/ brown up as nicely ?

Tip: soak your tteok, rice cakes in room temp water for like 1 hour or longer. It will cook faster and cook softer when you add it to your tteobokki or whatever you plan to use the rice cakes. You're welcome! 😁🤗
