One of the positives and one of the negatives of Ted talks is presenters are experts in their fields but not in presentation.,  The failure of this presentation in my opinion is its disjointed nature and could have been helped with professional speech construction and preparation. There are simply too many points made and as a result it's disjointed and loses impact. This could have been potentially a great presentation if constructed better.
