God's commandments never change...

The important thing is to obey God and keep the Sabbath Holy. He said the Sabbath, not any other day we think we should have. God picked Saturday for a reason. I think we should do what He says.

That answer does not seem an honest one to me. Every Christian in their heart knows that we're supposed to keep the Ten Commandments. But why most churches keep only nine? What you Sir said does not justify the change. In fact nothing can. Any transgression of the Commandments is simply a sin. "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." [King James Version, 1John 3:4] The undeniable fact is that God established the 7th day holy, but man changed it to the 1st day of the week. That is pure rebellion against His commandment. The fact that the Apostles gathered on the 1st day of the week does not justify the change. Even if it was habitual. If the new Church of Christ were to change the holy day from the 7th to the 1st, why didn't Jesus mention it? He is the Founder and the Head of the Church! On the contrary - when speaking of the future, He said: "But pray ye that your flight [from Jerusalem] be not in the winter, neither on the SABBATH DAY" [King James Version, Matthew 24:20] Jesus here clearly means that His followers were to keep the 7th day holy in the future. No one can change God's law. It is eternal and perfect. God does not change and neither does His word. Jesus said: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." [King James Version, Matthew 5:17-18] God said: "For I [am] the LORD, I change not; ..." [King James Version, Malachi 3:6]And no, I am not a Seventh Day Adventist. Yes it is Saturday. Saturday will always be the Sabbath. But Christians also gathered together on “The Lord’s Day” which is Sunday. But Sunday ain’t the Sabbath. God made the Sabbath...Jesus honored the Sabbath. He just didn’t make man made rules like the Sadducees and Pharasees did regarding “how” to observe it.

Jesus followers our brothers and sisters died trying to prevent the sabbath day from changing. They fought the Catholic Church, and they were killed horrible deaths standing up for Gods law, they were burned and skinned alive. So for us Christians to say eh it’s fine Sunday Saturday same thing, it doesn’t matter...is cruel. They died in vain? This is History, this is truth. Why don’t Christians study this? Why don’t we care? God made the sabbath day holy. If it didn’t matter, he would have said so. We’re not under the law I understand but changing dates that God set and acting like it’s irrelevant and unimportant today blows my mind ESPECIALLY when our brothers and sisters died horrible deaths defending Gods law.

*There's only one Sabbath Saturday there carnt be two, Yeshua was Jewish & didnt say change it, the Pope changed it. There are some Christian Churches that keep the Saturday Sabbath, like the Seventh Day Adventist Church, SDA. If you keep your mind on God for the whole day you get a really Great Blessing. Dont work or shop etc, etc, 'Keep the Sabbath Day Holy'. You can Keep Sunday as well if you want - choose.*

So Christians decided they are above the law of TMH by creating their own on Sunday! One of the commandments is to keep the sabbath day. By changing it and not honoring the original sabbath is against what the Bible states. Man will always choose to do what he wants every time!

Also JESUS ANSEWERED to the disciples and said regarding his second coming, after he ascended to heaven, in context he is in heaven, but at this time hes warning them then, and all who believe in him, in Matthew 24:19-20 KJV

now to truthfully answer that dear ones question, in 321AD roman emperor Constantine the 1st made the first civil decree of sunday sabbath observance!

interestingly it does say in exodus 31:6 the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. mathew 12:20 jesus said in the end times the sabbath will still be kept. Jesus said he is lord of the sabbath in math12:8. calendars always had sunday as the first day of the week but nowadays many have monday. math 28:1-6 now after the sabbath as the first day of the week began to dawn Mary Magdalene and the other mary came to see the tomb..We see the gentiles would go and listen to paul on the sabbaths. Ofcourse sunday is the day people changed the day to yet what is the true origin and significance of "sun"day out of interest

Poor guy, he has nowhere to go. Surely even he knew that his "the Christians met on the first day of the week" was a concoction or conjecture at best. If you look at the verses themselves, they are talking about Saturday night just after the Sabbath had finished. They were not Sunday meetings. In one instance the account tells us that Paul preached toward midnight and a lad went to sleep and fell from a window sill and was killed. Paul healed him, and when it was daylight on Sunday, walked a huge distance to another location to meet their mission boat.

Other texts that mention the first day of the week also record that the apostles didn't yet believe Jesus was alive. There is one more text which has been misused in this manner. It comes from 1 Corinthians 16:2 which is Paul's suggestion that after the Sabbath was over, and sometime on the first day of the week, they should tally up their financial transactions of the past week, and this was at home, to know how much they can give (be it tithe or offerings), so that he might gather it all as quickly as possible as he traveled through to take to the brethren in Jerusalem who were having a hard time. Several scholars of recent decades (even though they kept Sunday), even admit that fact.

He was kind of painted into a corner. But will he learn that what he said is not according to Scripture? We would pray he will, and seek what is truth on this issue - that the Sabbath has never been changed, and will even continue to be kept in the new kingdom. (Isaiah 66:23)

Sunday Football Needs to be moved back to Mondays, , , 🙅 or maybe Saturday, , , sometimes I think the devil is telling people responsible for Sundays football, , , because the devil wants to find a guys weakness to keep him from going to church with his family 🙅 and the people responsible 4 having football on Sundays is only interested in more viewers/$$$ and doesn't believe in god??? !
