ddr and pcie need to chill hardware doesn't need to change every 2 years manufacturers are already overpricing.

We *JUST* got PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and video cards. Wow.... This is nuts.

PCIe gen 6, meanwhile the top gaming GPUs can't even saturate the pcie gen 3
bus and probably won't for while. Even for transferring data it's really not needed yet, we don't even have DirectStorage yet on Win 10 or 11 and no games at least this year have it baked in. Plus it won't be instant loading with gen 3 or gen 4.

Not quite solid state yet, NAND is captive charge. MRAM and Optane r solid state. mb
