Infections of the kidney are common in males and females. Technically infections of the kidney is called as Pyelonephritis. The warning signs of infections of the kidney is called as acute Pyelonephritis, with pain in abdomen, pain in the back, fever, chills and sometimes burning sensation in the urine.These symptoms commonly occur in the diabetics, but it can also occur in non diabetics.

Thank you for presenting the facts about pyelonephritis so very well, Dr. Netivigi. Special thanks for mentioning that dysuria (discomfort while urinating) is not always present for a kidney infection or another UTI. For this reason absence of discomfort does not rule out pyelonephritis, cystitis or any other UTI (upper or lower).

Sir thank you for the video.. my husband is hospitalised due to kidney infection and blockage and it is almost 1 week over.. Dj stent inserted and antibiotics also given.. now no pain is there but fever is not going.. please suggest what to do

Sometimes I have to really try to urinate but very little coming out! What is the best thing next as if i were your mother! Just was wondering your opinions on this!
