Got a kidney infection on vacation in Mexico:/ Doctor prescribed me antibiotics for the infection and throwing up . Gave me 2 shots for the pain as we’ll. As soon as he gave me the shots I felt better the pain was less. I still throw up tho. Praying that anyone who has this feels better and recovers soon!… drink cranberry juice

My Mum is 82 but has the fitness of 50yr old. She is in hospital with a severe kidney infection. Her legs are now swollen. Dehydration. Night sweats. She now has fluid on her lungs. Can't visit her in hospital due to covid. She is fully vaccinated
So frustrating on waiting for a doctor to call.

I had a UTI and was really confused as it wasn’t through sex as I’ve never had sex so I was like ok let’s see what’s online I took some sachets you can get in the UK for 3 days that was 3x a day with water. It got a little better I was tracking my water and drank 6-8 litres of liquid 4 being water.
I then switched to cream for a yeast infection on day 3 of using that creme about every 3 hour fair amount each time no pain when I pee and down there genuinely feels better but now something just doesn’t feel right.. I don’t have pain but it’s more aching asif you’ve done a workout and haven’t stretched.. in my back which I now looked online and seems like on my kidneysThis happened the day after Christmas Day so it’s been over a week now. I don’t think there’s anything I can do that go to the doctors I have to remember I’m extremely lucky to have free nhs care in the uk and it’s always better to be safe than sorry 🤔I hope everybody here heals quickly and it’s not too serious good for you coming for advice online too!!

I visited GP Doctor and told me that i have kidney infection because my kidney and testicls was painful. Then. He gave medication and one injection then. I finished that medication for 7 days. Still was feeling pain. Then. I came back to him. He chaked my kidney then said 95% infection is gone. Then he gave me another injection and medication again. Still. I feel pain on my testicls. But my kidney is better
